this career involves long hours of working and maybe overnight stay we well. Hence there

has long been criticized for offering compensation levels below those common in other
lines of business, but nowadays extra hours of working are well compensated by the

fiscal responsibility.

There are various courses available 6 months to 4 years.
Eligibility for above courses
For 1-year diploma:
Class X or XII pass with minimum aggregate performance of 50 per cent.
For 3 or 4 year bachelor degree programme:
Class XII or equivalent pass with a minimum of 50 per cent.
For 2-year PG Diploma:
The applicant must be a graduate of any stream.
MSc in Hospitality Administration:
BSc in Hospitality Administration Certificate courses: 10+2 or equivalent.
The cost of doing the course can vary, depending on the course structure & the
name of the institution. Once after working the necessary experience had been obtained
then one can be expected to be rewarded handsomely. A student of hospitality should
not expect hundreds of dollars at the initial stage. One has to work for few years at the
entry level with fewer wages and later the salary depends on the experience and expertise
of the person.
