Cardiovascular Technician

Cardiovascular technicians and technologists assist doctors in diagnosing and treating patients with heart and blood vessel problems. They prepare patients for specialized tests and procedures, conduct the tests and then share the results with the physician. Technologists who use ultrasound to examine the heart chambers, valves, and vessels are referred to as cardiac sonographers, or echocardiographers.
