UTAH (UT) STATE IN UNIVERSITIES
Utah is one of the four corners states, and is bordered north by Idaho and Wyo- ming,east at a single
point by Colorado ,south for Arizona and west in the Nevada. Utah famous for American
author and essayist noted for his advocacy of environ-mental issues and criticism of public
land policies. Best-known for his novel The monkey wrench gang. Utah is usually protected
from major blasts of cold air by mountains lying north and east of the state. In eastern Utah
petroleum production is a major industry.
